INA SUPPORTS LEGISLATION FOR THE HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF ALL PEOPLE IN ILLINOIS
Chicago, IL – Several Illinois legislators received the Friends of Nursing designation as a result of their consistent support of nursing and the issues surrounding healthcare in the state of Illinois.
The Political Action Committee (PAC) Board of Trustee's for the Illinois Nurses Association supports legislators who take an active interest in issues facing the nursing profession.
“PAC exists to support legislators in the house and senate that support nursing issues. They are not just the issues that effect nurses and nursing practice, but also the issues that effect the health and well being of all the people in the state of Illinois,” P. Joan Larsen, Chair of INA’s PAC said.
Candidates who were designated as Friends of Nursing in their 2008 campaign include:
